Cindy's European Travels 2022

 I took a few hundred pictures during my month long trip which included Amsterdam, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Luneburg and Bremen.  The only link to my blogs is that they were taken during the trip.  I thought I'd post some of those random pictures.  Hope you enjoy them! This is my organized system for train and plane tickets, hotels and the list of sights I wanted to see in each city I visited.  I worked on the scheduling for about three weeks. Victoria has the Johnson Street bridge.  Haarlemer, Amsterdam has this raising bridge.  It lifts up from the side. Silver metal railings were installed on the edge of driveways that run along the canal.  It is a way to help cars from driving too close to the end and ending up in the water.  It is a common occurrence in Amsterdam.   **Note - Not my picture.  Inside the Bremen train station. I am now thinking taking the train around Europe was a breeze.  The last trains I will take back to Amsterdam are straight forward.  Bremen to Osnabruck, transfer to another train, Osnabruck to Hengelo and Hengelo to Schiphol Airport.  Total travel time 5 hours 38 minutes.  That was the theory.  It was all lies! What happened became a bit of a nightmare.  I got from Bremen to Osnabruck, Germany without a problem.  From there all of the scheduled trains had been cancelled.  The train number shown on my ticket to Hengelo, Netherlands was no longer on the departure schedule.  Through quick talking to two very helpful boys, I learned that train had been cancelled because the tracks were being worked on so now I had to take a Regional train to Hengelo.  I manage to do that.  I get to Hengelo and learn there is no train to take me to Schiphol Airport which is near the ...
